Job Description

The position is responsible for coordinating the pattern design and PDM/PLM team and processes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pattern design team, assuring that all technical development and industrialization activities are performed ontime, meeting the established priorities.
  • Coordinate the PDM team activities and support the PLM implementation.
  • Manage the collection timing: organize and handle calendars and deadlines for protoyping phase, samples phase and industrialization phase, assuring the timing requested by the Product Development.
  • Responsible for suppliers ontime deliveries in providing raw materials and semi-finished goods, during the sms phase and of production starting, properly interfacing with all internal department involved in the development process.
  • Manage the industrialization meetings and edit the required reports, lead the subsequent follow-up and the communication flow towards all the interested interfaces.
  • Be the proactive interface for Product Development, Operations, O-TD Coordinator and all the involved internal functions.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years experience in the role in Shoes Companies, preferably in high quality Men Shoes Brand or modern structured organizations.
  • Good knowledge of pattern making processes and a good oveall view of all processes in a Shoes production Company.
  • High leadership skills and capability to represent properly the Company values.
  • High level attitude to problem solving, team working and deadlines fulfillment, maintaining an hands-on approach.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities, supported by high communication skills and relaltional skills both with internal and external interfaces.
  • Proven process innovation mindset and propension towards digitalitazion and new technologies.
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, Outlook, OneNote..). SAP knowledge and PLM systems are considered as a plus.
  • Available to travel in Italy and abroad. A business fluent English level is a must.
