The Dental Office Manager is an incredibly important role at Hudec Dental. The primary function of the Office Manager is to assure that the dental practice is operating efficiently in an environment that exceeds patient satisfaction and employee well being while achieving an expected level of profitability.

The Dental Office Manager is responsible for:

  • Directing daily activities, evaluating performance and training needs for both clinical and non clinical office personnel
  • Resolving patient concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Completing the presentation of treatment plans to all patients in a clear, concise and compassionate manner
  • Monitoring goals of providers and overall office on a weekly basis
  • Daily monitoring of overall office production, revenue, A/R and collection levels
  • Ensuring that daily schedules are full and balance maximum productivity and patient care
  • Working with the H1 Department to handle personnel situations, needs, and evaluations Arranges coverage in office due to staff openings
  • Ensuring consistent coverage in office
  • Recognizing training needs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years managing a busy dental practice
  • Knowledge of dental practice software
  • Efficient scheduling skills
  • Knowledge of dental billing, state funded payments and insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly, positive demeanor with both patients and staff members
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
