Additional Locations:

The Customer Success Intern will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the forming of a new Operations and Support function focused on the post-initial-sales activities for HMH's digital products and services. The CS intern will work with a small team with large scale influence and will contribute in the forming and testing of ideas that will impact the organization at large. The CS intern will work closely with the VP of Customer Success on establishing customer-centric initiatives, and will perform basic administrative duties, such as conducting research, taking notes, coordinating meetings with other Senior level leaders, and running errands.

Primary Responsibilities

* Conduct research and formulate customer-centric solutions to common industry problems
* Attend company functions and networking events
* Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files
* Assist in preparing information and meeting materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations

Education and Experience

* Completed at least two years of post-secondary education
* Senior-level at college or university; completed three years of post-secondary education, preferred

Knowledge and Skills

* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-directed and able to work without supervision
* Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
* Passionate about education technology and innovation, preferred

Physical Requirements

* Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
* The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
* Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
* Boston-based
