Job Description

Intern/Software Engineer

Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity

Join a team that performs the SW verification and validation activities for SGN applications to ensure the software performs as expected by the client following the Honeywell Quality process and certification standards. You will learn about the DO-178C and/or SEAL certification requirements. You will support the creation of software test plans to ensure coverage of all software requirements. As part of this job, you will be involved on the test environment setup for the simulated and/or manual testing.

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University.
* Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English and Spanish
* Expected graduation date of Fall 2018 or Spring 2019
* Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

WE VALUE

* Minimum 0 - 2 years of knowledge and experience of the Software Life Cycle, Software Engineering Practices, Assembly, C and C++ languages
* Knowledge of C#, and/or Java a plus.
* Work well as a member of a software team.
* Possess an understanding of the role of software development in modern products.
* Be highly motivated.
* Prior experience developing and/or testing software in real-time embedded systems is a plus.
* Knowledge on DO-178B/C is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
