Job Description

Join the challenging and exciting world of Honeywell Integrated Avionics Product Engineering. This is an Entry Level opportunity, for an Integrated Avionics Product Engineer.

Job duties:

* Candidate must be legally authorized, to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
* The qualified candidate will have a progressing career path while working with a dynamic team and be responsible for a variety of assignments associated with world-class aircraft avionics development and technical support.
* Work assignments include creating product specifications, electronic circuit architectural development, interfacing with and monitoring of manufacturing operations, performing hardware design analysis, defining and documenting tests, troubleshooting hardware / failure analysis for factory test issues and flight functionality, plus assisting with hardware/system/software integration.
* Focus will depend on interest and ability of the candidate.

Basic Qualifications:

* A Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, from an accredited college or university.
* Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
* To meet Honeywell's policy standards, must complete the highest level of education, no more than 12 months prior to hire date.

Additional Qualifications:

* Master's degree in required disciplines, from an accredited college or university, will be considered
* Fundamental aptitude with the elements of hardware designs
* Experience with Microprocessors preferred
* Experience with Programmable logic devices / gate-arrays desired
* Experience with Memory devices and Networks very beneficial
* Experience with supporting digital & analog circuitry desired
* Solid PC skill set (Excel, Power Point, Word, MS Project, etc.)
* Excellent communications (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills preferred
* Experience with electrical engineering design tools highly preferred (ECAD, CAE, LTSpice, etc.)
