We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Systems Engineer for our Phoenix, AZ location in Control Systems Integration / Project Engineering. In this position, the candidate will work with and lead cross functional teams of engineers responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting state-of-the-art Turboprop, Fan, and Turboshaft control systems for a variety of new and existing aircraft.


* Ensure that work assignments are executed to appropriate standards and quality systems (Root Cause Investigation, Solution Implementation, Design, Test, Qualification and Documentation).
* Candidate should have good communications skills and be able to work well in a team environment. The candidate will routinely interface with systems/software development engineers, performance engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers internally and externally.
* Ability to establish professional relationships internally and with customers and to act as a technical interface to help ensure that the Engine System Project requirements are fully defined, agreed to, and met.
* Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identify risks / opportunities. Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
* Willingness to take ownership and lead projects, measured against milestones and budget fidelity.
* Ability to share technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines and report progress and technical problems to customer, program and engineering leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

* Seeking a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering that desires to develop a broad knowledge of turbine engines and their control systems who is adept at problem solving, innovation, and decision making.
* Must be a US person (US citizen, US permanent resident or individual with protected status i.e. asylum/refugee) due to US export control laws and regulations.

Additional Qualifications:

* Previous internship experience preferred
* Special consideration given to candidates with previous automotive, aerospace, or turbine engine experience.
