As an intern you will assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives. Under the direction of a senior level employee or manager you will work on projects that support the business area goals and results. You will also complete tasks using both interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment, while adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.

* Gather requirements for reporting, scope request and perform data cleaning and analysis
* Develop SQL queries for ad-hoc reporting
* Identify and troubleshoot business processes for potential data issues that show up in reports
* Troubleshoot anomalies in data, define and calculate performance metrics
* Develop ad-hoc/recurring reports; may draw conclusions about trends, variances (against plan, year-over-year, etc.) and business performance; present information and distribute reports.
* Perform research tasks with a view to gather data pertaining to Insurance industry, company and customer trends
* Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover competition and industry information
* Assist business analysis teams in gathering and analyzing project requirements and transferring this information to other departments
* Evaluate pertinent data by performing a variety of task analysis and business processes
* Write technical reports and manuals for the benefit of end users
* Develop detailed reports on market research initiatives and provide ideas on how this research fits into current projects
* Design workflow charts and write requirements for Reporting and Analysis
* Assist business analysis teams in monitoring project processes and resolving issues along the way
