Job Description

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Analyst Full time position in our Glenwood Springs Headquarters.

Oversees the planning, maintenance, analytics & administration of Holy Cross Energy's (HCE) AMI system. Communicates and provides assistance to HCE departments, HCE Members and public inquiries regarding the AMI system.

Bachelors and 1 to 3 years of related technical experience.

Starting hourly wage $32.50-36.50 (Depending on experience).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors system performance and initiates appropriate corrective actions when needed.
  • Oversees and analyses the read data from AMI system.
  • Performs system analysis of meter data and radio frequency (RF) transmission.
  • Troubleshoots and manages meter data imports and exports to and from other HCE business systems.
  • Manages and ensures the performance measures are met and in compliance with Holy Cross Energy metrics.
  • Facilitates the use of and data to and from Distribution Automation Equipment.
  • Works in the Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to log troubleshoot issues, service disconnects and reconnects, power outages, device location, field updates, system performance and software updates and upgrades.
  • Collaborates with System Operations, GIS, Operations, Engineering and Member Services departments, providing detailed and accurate AMI information to meet their departmental
    needs.
  • Communicates and responds to inquires and requests of coworkers, HCE Members, and other individuals and organizations regarding AMI.
  • Documents AMI processes and procedures for training purposes and other AMI personnel.
  • Assists the AMI/GIS Technician that meter data is correctly transmitted to appropriate HCE employees.
  • Collaborates with vendors and service providers and HCE departments to assist and facilitate meter use and analytic data.
  • Assist the Supervisor, System Operations, GIS & AMI, VP, Engineering and others as needed
