Job Description

You will be supporting the Software Product Care team to ensure continuous improvement of software for Ventana's on-market products. You will perform root cause analysis of reported issues, develop software to address the issues and perform unit testing to ensure the issues have been resolved. When needed, you will be required to document the root cause and solution in order to present the information to a non-technical board. You will work in a collaborative environment with fellow software engineers, software test engineers, technical documentation specialists and non-software technical support personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Learns to use company concepts, policies and procedures, familiar with and follows standard practices.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Participates in technical team activities.
Presents and discusses data within group.
Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Training/Education:

BS degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline.

Experience:

Entry level; 2 years of related experience preferred.

Highly Preferred:

Fundamental experience developing software in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Delphi
