Job Description

A Boutique Sales Representative ( internship program ) ensures that Guests are serviced to the best of his/her ability during their visit. Superb personalized service, name recognition and a warm smile are of the utmost importance in providing an unparalleled retail experience.

What will I be doing?

A Boutique Sales Representative ( internship program ) , is the primary person in charge of all point of sale transactions. Works closely with the Boutique Manager to ensure a five star quality services in all phases of the retail operation with attention to detail and proper service protocol. You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* At all times follow the safety guidelines
* You are expected to be in complete uniform (name tag, grooming standards, etc.) at the posted scheduled time and before you punch in
* You are expected to be in time as scheduled for your shift
* Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage efficient boutique operations
* Responsible for merchandise sales, checking of inventory, assisting with telephone calls.
* Must have full retail products knowledge
* Assist with all retail operations, such as: shop displays, sales, pricing of merchandise, receiving, and inventory control
* Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
* To learn proper procedure for the position and be knowledgeable about the fashion industry and terminology
* Informs Managers of ways to improve the overall operation, your working conditions and comfort of guests
* Assist in the cleaning and organization of the boutique
* Ensure that etiquette and all boutique policies are followed
* Interact with Guests and team members in a positive, friendly manner
* Responsible for cash register transactions and daily/weekly and monthly sales reports
* Maintain a warm and friendly smile
* Communicate any special request to designated personnel for follow-up
* Perform any other duties specified by manager or supervisor

* Experience in a Retail Shop operation will be an added advantage
* High School diploma or equivalent is required.
* Excellent communication (written and oral) skills are a must
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively with people on a variety of conditions
* Computer Literate
* Ability to read, comprehend, carryout instruction
