Job Description

The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Business Account Manager is responsible for maintaining, growing, and cultivating new and existing business partnerships with Allen Medical's OEM customers for surgical site access products. The OEM Business Account Manager will play an integral role relative to ensuring the Department's revenue and profit goals are achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Direct responsibility for the revenue targets of major OEM accounts, which will generate account revenues of approximately $4M per year.


* Develop and maintain strong and clear communication with our existing OEM customers while continuing to formulate new business relationships, across all levels of new and existing organizations.


* Research existing business and surgical applications via customer and clinical staff in order to make suggestions for new and improved business opportunities.


* Manage cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on-time and within budget.


* Create and manage project timelines and collaborate on the overall product management activities, such as pricing and resource management.


* Create and release of production documentation within the Company's Document Control system.


* Collaborate with internal departments specific to OEM production and engineering issues.


* Manage the creation of assembly work instructions and support transfer of product to manufacturing floor.


* Work with New Product Development to create load tests, lifecycle tests as needed for OEM customers and products.


* Implement and manage the effective delivery of key customer programs, including but not limited to, communication strategies, customer training, issue resolution and utilization reporting.


* Work in partnership with the Director, OEM to assist with the budgeting process, manage monthly expenses, and identifying development opportunities for junior staff.


* May be assigned supervisory responsibility to seasonal interns.


* Additional duties as necessary

* Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering or business equivalent. Demonstrated success with having identified and champion a new business opportunity with revenue of $250k per year in addition to previous account and/or sales management experience, with annual revenues of $4M.


* Experience with developing medical products or bringing products to market preferred


* Five plus years' experience or equivalent managing accounts, projects, and/or business development in a product development, account manager, or manufacturing environment.


* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes to include, machining, rotational molding, finishing, mechanical assembly a plus.


* Medical device experience preferred.


* Excellent proficiency with document writing and Microsoft Office products.


* Strong organizational skills.


* Demonstrated leadership skills.


* Highly-driven with excellent personal communication skills.
