Job Description

Hill-Rom's Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a three-year rotational program for recent college graduates who have a strong desire to begin a career in a highly specialized program designed for each individual to develop a rewarding, functional skillset at a company that manufactures market leading medical products. The program is designed to allow for a fast-paced entry into your career in finance with a world-class, medical device manufacturer.

FLDP participants will complete 2 rotations of six-months and 2 rotations of twelve-months for a total of 36 months in the program. These opportunities allow for a vast range of networking and leadership experiences. A steering committee will place participants in rotations based on developmental goals and business needs, along with input from the program participant. Additionally, each participant will have access to senior and executive leadership team members to provide professional guidance and personal mentoring throughout the program.

* Provide financial leadership and support to Hill-Rom's Commercial Divisions in achieving its financial commitments
* Preparation and clear actionable analysis of key operational reports including the income statement, product revenue trending, operating expenses and other key metrics
* Preparation of monthly reporting for business segments or at the Corporate level including presentations for the monthly business reviews
* Assist with coordinating and providing support in preparing the annual Plan and Long Range Plan
* Lead or assist with Finance continuous improvement projects throughout the year
* Participate in cross-functional projects as needed that help to further efficiencies for the business or function
* Assist business partners with ad hoc requests
* Support special projects upon request, including financial modeling, strategic initiatives, and systems implementation
* Adhere to Accounting & Finance Policies and Procedures

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced in Microsoft Excel
* Relevant internship experiences
* Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to define problems, identify solutions and follow through to completion
* Ability to perform effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency
* Ability to work independently, self-starter & attention to detail
* Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity in an effective manner

* 3.2 GPA minimum
