Job Description: The
HP Inkjet PageWide Web Press is a new industrial printing solution built on HP
Scalable Inkjet Printing Technology. We have revolutionized the digital web
press industry by offering full-color, variable data printing at unprecedented
speeds and paper widths. We are looking for highly motivated and
talented engineers to join us in this growing opportunity for HP. As
part of the R&D team, you will be an integral part of the Product Life
Cycle helping to realize HP's inkjet high speed printing solutions &
strategy. As
a Solutions Engineer with a focus on post print paper converting, you will be
working with HP Partners to ensure that HP PageWide Press's work well with
partner hardware to product the end products (Books, brochures, production
mail) our customers manufacture. This involves working with the leading
companies in the Digital paper converting industry, to ensure that a capable
media handing capability existing throughout the solution. This involves a
significant interaction with our end customers as well as the partners and
often leads to design and development of new HP product features.

Knowledge
and comfort working with real time control systems and an aptitude for process
engineering are required.

Skills and Qualifications: Domain Knowledge & Experience: Bachelor (undergraduate), Masters (graduate) or Ph.D (post-graduate) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Soft skills: Exceptional written and oral communication. Team player, with a bias towards action. Ability to operate across organizations and communicate effectively. Demonstrated initiative in previous projects. Willingness to engage, learn, and generally make things happen
