Job Description


HP's Print Software organization uses advanced data modelling and analytic techniques to provide strategic business insights for the HP printing business. The Business Intelligence Data Scientist Intern will build models to understand and predict technical and business measures of interest to the HP Print business. Intern responsibilities include:

* Turn general objectives into structured project definitions
* Identify the appropriate data sources, analytical methods and tools required for the project
* Create predictive models
* Validate and understand the conclusions
* Summarize the results in professional presentations to business partners and senior leaders

Education and Experience Required:

The successful candidate will have strong data science skills and a passion for applying them to real-world business problems. Other requirements include:

* Undergraduate degree in progress in data science, computer science, or related technical field of study
* Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to work independently
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to learn new business and technical skills and develop creative approaches to solving difficult problems

Education and Experience Required:

High School Degree 3rd Year of University completed in Computer Science, Data Science or Statistics.
