Job Description

You will join the Americas Region Technical Regulations team, which is part of Sustainability and Product Compliance (SPC) organization. America Region Technical Regulations is a partner to both the Global Business Units (GBUs) and Sales Organizations that delivers a clearly defined set of requirements and serves as a trusted interface for managing exceptions, submittal issues, government or agency audits and Consumer Product Safety Commission processes. Influence of national standards, international standards and government regulation implementation is guided by HP business needs and the HP vision for product regulation.

Essential skills and experience:

* Demonstrated ability to "take care of" the details
* Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new information
* Ability to work across various groups
* Excellent team player, comfortable both supporting and leading if needed
* Proven self-starter, with demonstrated ability to self-manage project delivery to deadlines with limited guidance.
* Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite and data bases

Desired skills and experience:

* Completed 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering/science degree
* Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English
* Interest in growing depth and breadth of experience in the technical regulations (product safety, EMC, and Telecom) domain
