Heinzerling Foundation

The Heinzerling Foundation serves a community of non-ambulatory residents with severe or profound mental retardation and multiple disabilities. They range in age from infancy to mature adults, with some spending their entire lifetime at the Foundation. Residents are admitted to the Foundation based upon their individual development criteria, without regard to race, religion, or the ability to pay. Operating costs for the facilities and residents' basic needs are provided by state and federal funds.
