Job Description

Join the Hearst Data Studio as an Insights and Analytics Coordinator working within the classification of content and insights. The Insights and Analytics Coordinator will work with the Taxonomy Manager within the Data Studio to support building and maintenance of taxonomy.

We are looking for someone that is data driven, with an interest in fashion and beauty to support the marketing and sales departments with data management taxonomy needs. This is an entry level position in taxonomy development.

The candidate will work as a liaison for audience activation through our rich and unique content across Hearst Magazines' digital and print brands. Data Studio: Work with a team of data scientists, research, insights analysts, and sales engineer specialists. The Data Studio leverages data for Hearst audiences and partners.

Requirements:

* Familiarity and appreciation of metadata, taxonomy and classification systems
* Interest in Library or Information Science
* A background and genuine interest in fashion, beauty, celebrity, home and lifestyle related content

Responsibilities:

* Build, revise, and maintain internal taxonomies around content, insight and action
* Expand and maintain classification around content and action in data management platform
* Coordinate with marketing and sales on the needs of audience insights and the taxonomy
* Collaborate with a range of teams including engineers, product managers, data scientists, designers, legal and policy
* Work with product teams to support visualization of taxonomy through the data management platform
* Support development and maintenance of guidelines and procedures for consistent and quality tag management
* Input and classify new and existing behaviors within data management platform for visualizations and insight
