Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Area HR Leader, we'll count on you to:

* Manage a variety of HR-related tasks for the local managers and corporate HR Department
* Lead management of moderate to complex or out-of-policy employee relations and performance management questions or issues
* Use corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel actions
* Gather data for issues and claims in conjunction with corporate HR and may lead investigation of issues
* Oversee the completion of employee paperwork to corporate office
* Review employee system queries periodically for accuracy of information
* Answer policy and procedure questions, including those of moderate or high complexity
* Prepare location Affirmative Action Plan
* Facilitate interviews for exempt level technical staff, participating as requested or necessary based on the requirements of the open position and managers
* Lead local selection process for nonexempt or entry level exempt staff as needed
* Conduct reference checks for non-exempt employees as needed
* Lead intern recruiting program in partnership with technical staff as needed
* Lead presentations, meetings and conferences calls as needed
* Coordinate office training with corporate LOD and participates in the development of brown bag seminars and other local training activities for managers
* Develop and/or present training programs within area
