We are searching for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work full time (36 hours per week) on night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This position will work throughout the facility in ER, Med/Surg, Critical Care and Nursery.

Essential Core Functions:

* Performs routine and high risk procedures as prescribed by the MD and follows appropriate policy in the application of respiratory procedures.
* Communicates with physician the effectiveness of respiratory care procedures.
* Thoroughly explains and answers patient and family questions regarding respiratory care.
* Reviews patients' charts to verify order and check for contradictions of therapy.
* Assesses patient and provides proper documentation in patient's chart as related to therapy.
* Assembles, installs, disassembles, assesses and maintains equipment according to manufacturer and department policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia.
* Acceptable degree from an accredited school - Associate in Respiratory Therapy of Bachelor Degree in Respiratory TherapyAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
* Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
* 1-3 years of experience (preferred)
