We are searching for a new Supervisor or Respiratory Therapist, to serve as aclinical specialist within the Respiratory department and accept responsibilities forother departments as expertise allows.

Essential Core Functions:

* Coordinates the orientation of newemployees and educates current employees.
* Delivery of safe, efficient patientcare
* Acting as surrogate in the absenceof the Director by providing continuityof leadership.
* Controls and coordinatesefficient use of resources, both material and human.
* Promotes patient safetythrough real time monitoring of TM behaviors and practice and provides ofimmediate feedback to reinforce or correct.
* Ensures an optimal environment ofcare by identifying environmental barriers to optimal patient care and takingaction through collaboration with appropriate departments.

Qualifications:

* Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program, BS preferred.
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider BCLS Certified within 6 months of employment.
* Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia
* 5 years of acute care experience required; Critical Care experience preferred.
