Work with division Chief Medical Officer coordinating centralized physician peer review activities across nine hospitals and six service lines. Work with division Data Analyst to generate peer review case lists. Coordinate chart requests with hospital medical records directors. Attend peer review meetings and track case review findings and coordinate follow up items with hospitals. Work with division Data Analyst to prepare aggregate data reports on service line quality indicators. Follow-up on other physician-oriented quality improvement initiatives, IT projects, best practice dissemination, surveys, etc. Must be self-directed, a good organizer, with good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work from home with networked computer. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of information. Will be expected to attend a minimum of 24 peer review meetings/year. Must attend occasional meetings at the division office.
A, Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN licensure in the State of Utah.
B. Education: Minimum Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree preferred.
C. Experience: 5 years of hospital-based clinical experience.
