We are actively seeking to hire a Civil CAD Designer/Technician to join our civil engineering team located in Vancouver, BC.


  • CAD drafting and design for infrastructure projects (civil, rail, aviation);
  • Translation of survey date into 3D CAD and MicroStation;
  • Drafting and design for various projects involving civil, earthworks, rail and/or roadways;
  • Ownership of moderately difficult design tasks with minimal supervision;
  • Coordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables;
  • Compilation of design drawings;
  • Preparing design submissions and other technical documents;
  • Assistance of Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.


  • Graduated from an accredited CAD Technology program of Civil Engineering Technology;
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with infrastructure projects an asset;
  • Software proficiency with both AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
  • Software proficiency with MicroStation a definite asset;
  • Experience with profiles and cross-sections;
  • Experience with drainage design;
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
