Associate Brand Manager - US Marketing, Games

Function/Purpose:

Hasbro's US Marketing Team has an immediate need for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative marketer to lead key initiatives and strategic execution of marketing plans for our Gaming portfolio. The Hasbro Gaming portfolio includes over 80 brands, and this role would focus on the brands within the Party games and Entertainment/ Licensing segments. In this role, you will:

• Manage overall P&L, including making recommendations on pricing and marketing spend, for assigned brand(s) based on brand revenue and profit goals

• Collaborate with the Global Marketing team to develop annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive revenue growth

• Drive executional excellence by prioritizing day-to-day demands, in addition to larger projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding expectations

• Analyze point-of-sale data to understand the trends of the business and provide sound rationale for shipment forecasts

• Partner with the Customer Marketing and Sales teams in the development of annual trade/promotional opportunities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities::

Under the general direction of the Category Director and senior team, you will:

• Develop U.S. strategic annual business plans to achieve brand financial goals, including pricing recommendations, shipment forecasting and manage a marketing spend budget across segments

• Responsible for growing brand revenue and profitability by item/ segment to drive portfolio growth

• Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build plan

• Recommend, execute and manage fully integrated U.S. Marketing brand plans, including consumer communications strategy, omni-channel media plan, consumer promotions and retail strategy

• Develop and manage media plans and spending by brand, considering product performance and inventory levels.

• Plan and direct implementation of all trade and account-specific promotional programs to achieve business goals.

• Analyze POS performance at an item level and competitive activity, along with retailer requirements to identify growth opportunities

• Partner with U.S. Sales Organization to drive brands at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations

• Provide strategic input and direction to Global Brand Team on product line, financials and marketing toolkit assets

Education and Experience Requirements:


• Minimum of 3 years of progressive brand/ strategy experience in forward thinking consumer-focused organization

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.

• MBA strongly preferred.

Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:

• Proven ability to execute a brand marketing plan grounded in key strategies in a rapidly-changing organization.

• Expertise at executing with excellence

• Compelling communication skills to collaborate and influence effectively with cross-functional teams

• Ability to seamlessly adapt to changing environment

• Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track

• Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills

• Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters

• Ability to build strong, lasting relationship across the organization

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
