Our Powertrain Operations: Pilgrim Road facility is looking for a two first shift Manufacturing Supervisors. One supervisor will oversee our Powder Coat area while the other will oversee our Assembly operations.

This is what you'll do:

• Support bargaining unit employees in rotation groups with team leaders

• Support continuous improvement to achieve cost effective results

• Hold teams accountable to processes, systems, and results

• Set the stage for the day (i.e. schedule changes, previous shift performance, quality issues, etc.)

• Work with stewards to prevent and/or resolve issues early

• Provide feedback to team members to ensure good quality throughout the group

• Ensure standardized work and process discipline are followed

• Perform layered audits and prevents passing defects to the next group

Education Required
Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience Required
We are looking for someone...

• Who typically has a minimum of 3 years of related experience

• Who has previous experience in a unionized high-volume production or manufacturing focused environment

• With prior knowledge and/or experience advising high performance work groups

• Who will lead work groups collaboratively with union leadership

• Who has demonstrated performance in the areas of leadership, change management and continuous improvement

• Who is consistent and dependable in carrying out supervisor duties independently and with little direction
