Join the Talent Management team as an Organization Development Manager. The OD Manager provides organizational development support for all manufacturing sites across Harley-Davidson. Partnering directly with the site Human Resource Directors, the role identifies and delivers practical recommendations to address system-wide and local leadership and employee development opportunities to meet plant and HD business objectives. The OD Manager will design and assist in deployment of change management initiatives to drive organizational change to support the business through direction from plant leadership.

Travel will be front loaded to build relationships, but should even out over time to approximately 25%.


Here's what you'll do:


• Coaching - Consult with business leaders to assess the organization's strategy, structure, processes, people and culture. Encourage leadership to model actions that reinforce desired behaviors to achieve business outcomes.

• Change Management - Accelerate change through applying change management concepts and methods to implement organizational strategies in order to meet business objectives. Provide a consistent and repeatable process for the organization to quickly adapt to changing business conditions.

• Organization Assessment - Deploy consistent assessment techniques, instruments, and processes to assist leadership, teams, and individuals in identifying and solving business problems.

• Organization Design - Partner with business leaders to structure and align all elements of an organization to achieve business objectives.

• Organization, Team, and Individual Development - Provide standardized learning & development systems, processes, programs and tools to organizations, teams and individuals to achieve professional goals and business outcomes. Ensure that effective processes/systems are in place to assist leadership/management in developing and growing employees. Challenge leadership to provide resources and direction to ensure individual employees are prepared to meet changing business needs. Provide direction and strategic vision for the Career Management program

Education Required
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Organization Development, Education or equivalent degree.

Master's degree is preferred.

Experience Required
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience, including partnering with individuals, groups, and joint leadership in the areas of change management, training, and coaching is required.
- 3 years experience supervising OD professionals
- The ideal candidate will have practiced OD in a manufacturing setting with experience in a unionized environment preferred.
- Demonstration of skills required in the following: business acumen, systems-thinking, coaching, needs assessment, designing performance focused interventions, organizational design, change management, planning, project management and implementation skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively to deliver project deliverables.
