The Harley-Davidson Motor company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra - You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a Finance Analyst and help ensure appropriate new product development cost management systems are deployed to allow the optimization of value in bringing new products to market.

This is what you'll do:

• Manage product development to budget through a "Target Cost" performance based system.

• Cost management for the product itself as well as the investment needed to develop and launch.

• Exert influence through a matrix relationship and have representation on appropriate forums. The scope of influence will encompass both internal Harley-Davidson as well as Supplier community stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Insure appropriate due diligence regarding product cost scrutiny.

• Effective performance of this function will result in new product cost predictability.

Education Required
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA and/or CPA is a plus.

Experience Required

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.

• Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.

• Strong spreadsheet and database skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.

• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.

• Experience in product development, manufacturing, or sales finance is a plus.

• SAP experience is a plus.
