Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor at our Menomonee Falls, WI Powertrain Operations Plant. This Supervisor will be responsible for 10-20 union workers in the machining area. Prior machining experience is strongly preferred.

Here's what you'll do:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and support of bargaining unit employees in rotation groups in a machining area
- Support employees to achieve department metrics for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and sustainability. The supervisor is a key link in the help chain for the rotation groups and team leaders.
- Provide mentoring, resources, tools, and direction needed for the value adders to be as effective and efficient as possible.
- Spend the majority of your time on the shop floor

Education Required
Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience Required

• A minimum of 3 years direct supervisory or similar leadership experience.

• Machining experience preferred.

• Previous experience in a unionized high-volume production or manufacturing focused environment.

• Prior knowledge and/or experience advising high performance work groups and experience with implementation and monitoring of Statistical Process Control systems, ISO9001 processes

• Ability to jointly lead work groups with Union leadership a plus.

• Demonstrated performance in the areas of leadership, change management and continuous improvement.

• Must be consistent and dependable in carrying out supervisor duties independently and with little direction
