The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is home to the Enterprise Contact Center (ECC) providing long-term support of our products after they are launched into commerce. Join our team as the IT Portfolio Management Lead and help drive identification, alignment to strategy, and monitoring and communicating performance of the technology work portfolio.

This is what you'll do:
Acting under the guidance of the global IT Portfolio / Demand Management Manager, located within the Office of the CIO, the IT Portfolio Management Lead facilitates and governs the formulation and delivery of the portfolio of technology work. Specifically, this position leads the team accountable for the management of the comprehensive IT portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end oversight of IT work demand to enable IT and functional leaders to objectively assess, prioritize, and initiate new projects, enhancements, and other IT work.

• Ensure alignment of IT work to the HDI & IT vision, strategy, and objectives.

• Assess and report overall portfolio performance to expectations, formulate portfolio performance improvement recommendations for consideration, and partner with IT leadership and related stakeholders to enact necessary portfolio decisions.

• Understand the complete ecosystem of IT work which includes but is not limited to ideas, projects, programs, standard work, finance, staffing, and related processes.

• Demonstrate leadership through effective decision-making, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Leverage strong analytical skills and understanding of value and risk identification concepts and techniques to form portfolio recommendations accordingly.

• Maintain the portfolio on behalf of IT and serve as the lead interface to all stakeholders.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 8 years IT Portfolio/Project Management experience.

• Prior technical experience and the ability to perform comprehensive data analysis preferred.

• Prior experience with process development, change management, and/or continuous improvement activities.

• Understanding of project, portfolio, and resource management tools and how they are leveraged.
