The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle and Powertrain Operations facility in Kansas City, MO employees produce the Sportster®, Dyna®, V-Rod® and Street families of motorcycles from fabrication and finishing through final assembly including the liquid-cooled RevolutionX powertrains for the Street motorcycles. Join us as a Finance Lead and help manage complex or cross-functional projects.

Here's what you'll do:

• Lead the financial guidance, direction and analytical support for appropriate functional areas and all corresponding departments.

• Provide comprehensive financial support for assigned departments including, but not limited to revenue, margin and expense analysis along with proactive recommendations for corrective actions when needed.

• This position may be responsible for coaching others including planning and assigning projects and tasks, reviewing progress and evaluating results.

• Provide formal and informal mentoring to other staff members.

Education Required
Bachelor's degree is required; Finance or accounting strongly preferred. CPA desired.

Experience Required

• A minimum of eight years related work and/or public accounting experience is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and experience in a variety of Finance areas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Engineering and experience in a variety of Engineering areas is required in Cost Engineering area.

• Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling

• Self-motivation and the ability to continuously look for process improvements.

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.

• Supervisory experience is preferred.

• SAP experience is preferred.
