The Harley-Davidson Motor Company headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is home to Global Information Services (GIS) delivering long-term technical solutions company-wide. Join our team as an IT Design Lead and take on the design, configuration, and implementation of application solutions spanning the integration of multiple functional business areas.

You will work with business and application groups to re-engineer new processes and sustain existing ones within and outside the technical Center of Expertise (COE) or portfolio. You will also work with process team leaders to provide a cross-functional view, bridging the gap between various teams to make sure processes are end-to-end integrated. We need someone to take ownership of complex and integrated design issues across process teams to provide full process and systems integration.

This role has responsibility for ensuring the necessary integration testing occurs to prove out a solution and its touch points.

Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems preferred. Advanced degree a plus. Project Management Institute (PMI) certification desired.

Experience Required
We are looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 8 years of successful project delivery with a focus on systems design

• Extensive experience with designing, configuring, and implementing on one or more of the following technical platforms or disciplines: SAP ABAP & Java stacks, ABAP Programming, SAP Security, LDAP, Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Livecache, HANA), Vertex, Webseal, IBM Content Collector, AIX, Linux, Windows, Disaster Recovery, High Availability

• A proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and delivering information systems, preferably in a consumer products, manufacturing or distribution company

• Strong experience in, and orientation toward, solution design, project management and structured system development methodologies

• Extensive experience troubleshooting and performance tuning SAP applications, ABAP code, and the underlying technologies (OS, Database, Network, distributed file systems)

• Change management experience in environments with numerous complex SAP landscapes and multiple releases occurring simultaneously
