Overview

OVERVIEW:

The incumbent is responsible for managing analytic, tactical and operational aspects of sales for the Walmart women's intimates business. Customer Development Analyst is responsible for providing support to HbI Walmart Sales Sr. Manager, Directors of Women's Intimates and HbI cross-functional teams with a focus to drive top line sales, market share and profitability. Responsibilities also include with partnering ecommerce team and supporting ecommerce item setups.

This applicant demonstrates a strong balance between analytical skills and project management including attention to detail. Applicant collaborates with Walmart and HbI teams in development of strategic projects. Acts as a contact with Walmart on projects involving data analytics and demonstrates an ability to deliver "Salytics" (Sales thru Analytics). Walmart is HbI's largest account and represents substantial current and future growth for HbI.

Responsibilities

PRINICIPAL RESPONSIBILITES:

* Serve as the communication link between Walmart and the HbI internal team - Sales Sr. Manager and Director, customer operations, customer service, finance, marketing and other cross-functional areas for all Walmart business aspects.
* Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of Walmart's data sources (Retail Link) and perform analysis including sales, inventory, productivity, etc to identify business building opportunities.
* Develop and present recommendations to the HbI team and Walmart merchant team that highlight opportunities and issues, and comprehensive action plans to address.
* Collaborate with Sales Sr. Manager and Directors to create, monitor and manage Joint Business Plans for the women's underwear businesses. Participate in key quarterly meetings with Walmart merchant teams and business analysts to review business performance.
* Plan meetings to prepare for Walmart Product Development calendar meetings including product content, pricing, marketing/promotion programs, and meeting presentations. Take an active role in PD meetings with Walmart merchant team.
* Create, manage and maintain all new product forecasts for Walmart.
* Maintain a complete understanding of the Walmart modular process including modular development and creation, initial item set up and initial pipe quantities and execution at retail.
* Utilize Walmart's ecommerce set-up system (Workhorse) and partner with marketing teams and ecommerce team to execute item setup process for Walmart.com.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

* 4-year college degree (BA, BS) or 6+ years business/analytical experience in lieu of degree.
* 2-4 year related sales support, sales analytic or related experience
* Demonstrate effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and communication (oral and written) skills
* Strong analytical and computer skills, including advanced skills in Excel and Access.
