Job Description

The Tradeshow Intern is responsible for providing functional support for Learning Without Tears (LWT) tradeshow operations, including maintaining, packing and shipping of materials.

Job Duties

* Pack, ship and track materials and supplies to scheduled LWT tradeshows. Unpack, evaluate, replace any broken or unusable items and organize items upon return.
* Maintain storage/packing room, organizing tradeshow materials and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the cleanliness of room, materials, supplies, and linens.
* Prepare and maintain LWT demo and admin kits used at tradeshows, replacing missing or broken items, cleaning supplies as needed, etc .
* Maintain and update technology equipment, monitors, laptops, and ipads, with appropriate system updates or icapture codes as needed.

Required Education/Skills

* High school student, or high school diploma.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
* Ability to work both independently and with a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
* At times, ability to move about and stand; Ability to bend, stretch, and use arms and hands to grip, move, hold and manipulate boxes, materials and travel equipment.
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
