About the Group

In 1919, Halliburton ran the first cementing job in Oklahoma, transforming how an entire industry approached oil and gas wellbore architecture. Halliburton’s innovation of creating an annular barrier with a cement-based hydraulic seal significantly reduced risk while helping to sustain the life of the well. Since then Halliburton has been industry leader in tailoring zonal isolation solutions and delivering dependable barriers all over the world. The R&D team is where it all starts.  From technology and process improvement, to new product development, this team is the heart of Halliburton-Cementing and continues to revolutionize the cementing industry.
