Haemonetics Global Internal Audit is currently seeking an enthusiastic Audit Intern, who will be an integral member of the Global Audit team, and will work closely with the North America Audit Manager on diverse projects consisting of audit reviews (financial, operational and compliance) and integration of data analytics into business processes and operations to drive insight and improve value. We will provide the most expansive experiences for the intern with assignments throughout the country. Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out the vision and mission of Global Internal Audit to improve controllership through review and implementation of a systematic and disciplined approach to controls
* Apply data analytics procedures to large data sets to identify patterns, correlations and fluctuations, and effectively optimize risk-based audit engagements
* Assist in identifying and defining audit issues and root causes, recommend improvements to internal controls and business processes
* Work with the Internal Audit team to promote a culture of high ethical standards, awareness, and vigilance in efforts to prevent and detect fraud
* Review and map process routines and controls, financial statements and operations at a HAE business
* Ensure corrective action plans are developed and implemented
* Collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities
* Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance service quality
* Presentation of results achieved during your assignments
* Involvement in special projects and initiatives
* Assist the Vice President of Audit to perform comprehensive risk assessment

Desired Skills:

* A Bachelor or Graduate degree - BS, MS, MBA
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Advanced written and verbal communication proficiency
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with high level of initiative
* Dedication to teamwork and leadership
* Integrity within a professional environment
* Prior audit, accounting, internal controls or applicable business experience
* Willing to travel - Domestically for up to two consecutive weeks
