Job Description

MS Exchange/O365 Developer/Architect

Location: Seattle, WA

Official Title: Exchange Architect .

Your Daily Activities Will Include

  • Exchange and Office 365 development and architecture. This includes on premise Exchange migrations as well as on-premise to cloud migrations and directory synchronization.
  • Candidate is expected to lead all implementation and architecture, but will be expected to train existing IT staff along the way to effectively manage the environment at the end of the engagement.
  • Remote client software deployment. This can come in the form of SCCM or others, but there will be a need to implement a solution to manage laptops up and down the west coast for field based end users.
  • Azure cloud experience for both IaaS and Windows server management as well as other offerings such as InTune and Azure Files.
  • Single Sign On. The current trajectory is shifting on-premise applications to either SaaS providers or IaaS to host applications. There will be a desire to implement SSO (Okta, Ping, etc) to effectively manage identities across the various platforms.
  • MS SQL experience. While strong DBA skills are not required, there will be a bit of DBA work with some Legacy applications for the near term.
  • Strong bed side manner and communication skills. Candidate is expected to lead all implementation and architecture, but will be expected to train existing IT staff along the way to effectively manage the environment at the end of the engagement.
  • ITIL or basic Service Delivery experience. The client will be implementing basic ITIL practices so all solutions will need to be implemented to support this new model. Being able to think about architectures, monitoring, and measuring in this context will be required.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Exchange and Office 365 development, architecture, and administration.
    • On-premise Exchange migrations as well as on-premise to cloud migrations and directory synchronization.
  • Remote client software deployment.
    • SCCM - Implementation/Customization/Deployment
  • Azure Cloud experience for both IaaS and Windows server management
    • InTune and Azure Files.
  • Single Sign On/SSO (Okta, Ping, etc) Implementation/Management
    • On-premise applications migration to either SaaS providers or IaaS to host applications.
  • MS SQL - Solid understanding of MS SQL Server
  • ITIL or basic Service Delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
