Job Description


As a Senior Java Middleware Developer, you will design and implement a highly scalable, highly available application. You will implement next gen platform using open source/open systems, which is cloud enabled and based on Micro services architecture. You will design and develop an application to handle ~1 billion transactions per day.

  • Design, Architect and create solutions using Java, microservice and Cassandra No SQL Database
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Analysis, design for the products and services in the Wireless business to fulfil the needs of strategic initiatives
  • Understand the business needs and make critical design decisions an implement the same with other team members
  • Participate in day to day activities involving design, development, test support, deployment and production monitoring and support for Order Management platform
  • Communicate with external teams including business clients on various issues and resolutions to provide the best customer experience
  • Participate in requirement gathering and create design documents

Must Have:

  • 4 years of Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience developing applications using Java and Spring
  • Experience handling complete product releases from development, integration, testing, to production
  • Experience with agile development Hands on experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience in implementing critical high-availability applications and experience in Microservices
  • Experience in No SQL technology
  • Experience with DevOps tools

Works on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices or precedent. Acts independently to identify and select appropriate methodologies. Work customarily and regularly (50% of time or more) requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Normally receives general instructions on non-routine work assignments. Requires additional instructions and frequent guidance on new assignments. Decisions are made independently. Assigned multiple tasks or projects are generally reviewed after completion. Contact is typically coordinative in nature and involves exchanging detailed technical information. May deal with both internal and external contacts. Demonstrates working knowledge in job-related functional area and of the business. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience
