Health Unit Coordinator
Perform clerical duties and indirect patient care within the Emergency Department. Greet patients as they enter Emergency and direct them as appropriate for medical evaluation. Complete registration process. Assist with hospital admission as directed.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Basic or limited legible penmanship. Communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.
Minimum Experience Requirements
3 years' experience in a health care facility comparable to an Emergency Department. CRT/data entry experience.
