Job Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Medical Director the Special Procedure Technologist is expected to work with radiologists, neuroradiologists and vascular surgeons to perform diagnostic angiographic and interventional procedures and other miscellaneous invasive procedures.  Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages.  Contributes to the efficient operation of the department ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Associate's Degree - Completion of accredited radiology programs

 

Minimum Experience

1 year - Radiology experience

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

RSQA - RAD QUALITY STANDARD - RQSA

ARRT-RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST - ARRT

Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

N/A

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

Graduate of  Interventional radiology program will be considered and equivalent to 1 year of radiology experience
