Job Summary

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require a high degree of independent judgement and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and the therapy of disease in humans.

 

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Asscociate's Degree - Graduate of accredited nuclear medicine technology school

Minimum Experience

No prior experience required

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

JOB RELATED CERTIFICATION - COTR

Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

ARRT registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT).  One is not preferred over the other  (Lawson Code C024)
SCRQSA - Radiology Quality Standards South Carolina SCRQSA license in nuclear medicine (Lawson Code RQSA)
 

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements

Other Required Experience

ARRT in Radiology - Preferred

Experience on Philips equipement - Preferred

Spect/CT experience - Preferred

NMIS system - Preferred

Minimum one year of prior Nuclear Medicine experience - Preferred
