New position for PACE program for Senior Care

Job Class




Job Summary

The Registered Dietitan, PACE is responsible for providing nutrition care and education to Senior Care participants.  Evaluates the participant’s nutritional status, develops and implements nutritional care plans, assesses nutrient requirements, recommends nutritional prescriptions, evaluates participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care, and communicates nutritional data and information to the physicians and other health professionals.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree - Nutrition (must be an ADA accredited institution)

Minimum Experience

1 year - experience working with the frail elderly population

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses



Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)

Must have SC Dietitian's license within 30 days of hire

In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements


Other Required Experience

Experience and demonstrated proficiency with teaching relevant subject matter to a variety of audiences - Required

CDE - Preferred
