Job Description

General Summary:

This role is intended to expand the emphasis and time invested by our Greenheck rep offices toward the sale of Louvers. It will involve primary interaction and coordination between the Area Sales Managers, the Greenheck Mechanical Reps, and the Greenheck Louver Product Manager. The focus of this role is primarily external with a significant amount of time devoted to travel (North America) to assist and direct our mechanical reps and their clients with a focus on growth and specification presence. Up to 50% travel is anticipated and required. The seconary piece of this role is that of a traditional Application Engineer.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the BU Product Manager and Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement optimal business unit sales strategies for specific rep offices and territories.
  • Identify specific requirements for performance, product features, options, and accessories, for existing, new or redesigned products that will strategically improve our market penetration.
  • Monitor the market relative to pricing levels and discount needs and assist in the point of use management of price discount vs volume strategies that optimize business unit profitability.
  • Organize and present training and promotional seminars internally and externally.
  • Responsible for gathering competitor intelligence, information for market studies, and identifying advantageous selling points.       
  • Become familiar with the competitor's products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
  • Provide technical support via phone and e-mail for both internal and external sales people in the areas of product selection and application.
  • Provide developmental guidance for customer facing systems such as CAPS, eCAPS and www.greenheck.com.


Business Unit Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Further develop advantageous relationships with dual-line sales representatives who still carry Ruskin; expanding the Greenheck louvers slice of the pie.
  • Travel up to 50% (within North America) for sales calls, technical presentations, relationship building events, and field problem resolution(s).
  • Become an actively involved contributor to industry related committees (IE: AMCA)


Job Qualifications: 

Work requires a professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, which is equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regular four-year college program.

Between 0-3 years of work experience is required.
