Greenbrier Valley Medical Center has a rich history in the scenic Greenbrier Valley. Since 1938, the hospital has played an indispensable role in the region's development. A replacement facility was built on the current campus in 1974. Triad Hospitals acquired the hospital in 2000, and from 2001 through 2005, the facility was rebuilt and expanded from a 30 year old 100,000 square feet facility into a modern, state-of-the-art 135,000 square feet facility.
