We are one of the few insurance groups with a division dedicated to underwriting Property and Inland Marine business. We write policies in all 50 states and have more than 2,000 independent agents offering our coverages. Our broad range of products include property, builders' risk, contractor's equipment, excess property, transportation cargo, electronic data processing (EDP), and difference in conditions (DIC).

We are currently seeking a year-round intern located in our Cincinnati, OH headquarters to work 15-20 hours during the school year and 40 hours during the summer.

Responsibilities

Duties will include fulfilling requests for underwriting reports from across the country, administrative assignments, and participation with special projects as assigned such as Agent Portal System. This internship will provide the intern with the opportunity to develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines as well as policy language.

Qualifications

Requirements include current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a major in such areas as business administration, finance, economics, statistics, communications, or risk management and insurance with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Must be available to work 40 hours per week in the summer and 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
