PositionSummary

As a State and Local Tax (SALT) Paraprofessional, you will play akey role in supporting a team of SALT professionals and assist withadministrative support and project management. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, performer with strongcommunication, organization and analytical abilities. You should be an independent,solution-oriented performer who is skilled and experienced in a supportingadministrative function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Interact with internal and external clients,answer and respond to phone calls received by partners and managers.
* Provide general administrative support (typecorrespondence answer telephone, schedule appointments, open mail, copying,faxing) for partners and managers.
* Use Microsoft Suite extensively to prepareprofessional documents including letters, memos, proposals, presentations,spreadsheets and billing statements.
* Plan and set up meetings and teleconferencesboth internally and externally.
* Plan and coordinate special events.
* Interact with corporate travel group tocoordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries.
* Maintain electronic calendars for partners andmanagers.
* Understand the firm's service lines,industries, and client engagement structure in order to work effectively withall levels of employees and clients.
* Communicate effectively and professionally withall levels of client personnel and client service personnel. Understand and anticipate client serviceneeds and administrative needs and deliver high-quality service and results.
* Manage client-related engagementresponsibilities, including client acceptance, client assignments,documentation, inventorying, indexing, filing, managing billable hours, etc.
* Capture client activities and opportunities inCRM system.
* Manage expenses and prepare reports forreimbursement for partner and managers.
* Oversee continuing professional education andrenew certifications/licenses for partners and managers, as appropriate.
* Collaborate with colleagues to recommend mostcost-effective ways to complete tasks. Apply and share knowledge gained about work processes, resources, andstructure and business of the firm/service line/functional group. Develop and demonstrate solid knowledge offirm-wide and service line specific tools, processes, and databases.
* Effectively use the firm's core technologyapplications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lync/Skype, SharePoint andOutlook. May also be considered aknowledge resource in one or more of these programs and be requested to trainothers.
* Other duties as assigned.
* High school diploma or equivalentrequired. Bachelors' degree preferred.
* Five to seven years of administrative supportexperience in a corporate or professional services environment.
* Advanced skill level with Microsoftapplications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Must have experience supporting multipleexecutives, partners and managers.
* Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
* Treats sensitive or confidential informationwith appropriate discretion.
* Ability to take initiative, be self-directedand results-oriented.
* Ability to work additional hours as needed.

PreferredSkills and Experience

* College degree preferred.
* Moderate level accounting or financialknowledge preferred.
