Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as an adjunct faculty member for the traditional ground campus in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology . Through hands-on, inquiry-based learning, the college provides an outlet for innovation and cross-disciplinary exposure. It also features pre-professional degrees in biology, alongside our degrees in information systems, and a forensic science and exercise science program.

As an adjunct faculty member, you'll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Course Description: Computerized Design and Manufacturing Tools in MET & Lab:

* This course is an extension of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) for Mechanical Engineering Technology.. Tools for Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), and CAE, in general will be used in a variety of industrial applications. Emphasis will be placed upon how these computerized tools can be used in design and manufacturing including the introduction of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) systems for the generation of tools paths and tool design. Prerequisite: MAT-252 or MAT-261, ESG-250.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

* Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.



Qualifications:

* Minimum: Masters (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Masters (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Masters (or higher) in General Engineering AND 5 or more years industry experience.
