POSITION:   GRADE 7TITLE:           Distribution Logistics Specialist orDC Assistance

Hours:  Tue.-Sat.  7pm-5:30am

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for extensive administrative support to the operation, must have excellent analytical skills and be responsible for accurate data management.   Able to provide accurate information to management at all levels.  Must be able to act in response to company policies and procedures. Must have excellent computer and math skills to prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports.  Comprehend and demonstrate strong financial management knowledge.  Process and assists in the daily administration of all company programs assuring high customer satisfaction.  

 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Examine reports for accuracy and compliance and identify discrepancies

Maintain and provide accurate data for internal communication

Responds to inquiries on matters related to building results, answer routine questions regarding procedures.

Performs and completes tasks associated with inventory accuracy issues, including inventory discrepancies, inventory adjustments, labeling discrepancies, packaging discrepancies, location discrepancies, and product and location exceptions 

Performs and completes routine inventory maintenance control tasks, including cycle counts, aisle audits, location audits, high dollar item verification, and damage processing

Performs and completes tasks associated with stock movement, including replenishments; reserve to primary, consolidation of inventory locations, top-offs of inventory locations, stock movements associated with space management projects, and storage trailer inventory management

Performs and completes space management activities, including rack building, beam reconfiguration, rack decking installation, bin box assembly, rack and location labeling, warehouse system maintenance of products and locations

Performs and completes tasks associated with return processing, including SAP transactions, inventory adjustments, damage collection and disposal, donation and as-is process

Performs and completes auditing tasks that are associated with, but not limited to, trailer audits, process audits, branch replenishment audits, SOP compliance audits, and individual audits 

Performs and completes tasks associated with branch services functions including order cancellation, branch and customer feedbacks, stock checks, branch inquiries, load performance evaluation tracking, inventory synch, and data entry of information

Performs and completes tasks associated with grade 5 and 6 level tasks as needed.

Communicates all problems and issues through various communication means, including email, telephone, documentation, and open dialogue as required for each function

Maintains areas of responsibility by keeping areas clean and organized

Perform other related duties as needed and/or assigned
