Due to our growth and phenomenal results with the Grainger Drop Ship program, Imperial is adding a Grainger Product Specialist to support our Inside Sales team.  

The Grainger Product Specialist:

  • Manages the day-to-day Grainger product support for inside sales by answering technical questions and facilitating product searches
  • Identifies and cross-references product for the Sales and Quotations departments
  • Performs training for Sales personnel, and works closely with Grainger resources
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness to assist sales by obtaining Grainger product knowledge, product application, and supporting the overall Grainger Drop Ship Program.

     

    The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2 year Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in industrial distribution, part/service management, purchasing, or equivalent experience and wide range of product knowledge.
  • Product knowledge in the categories such as safety, material handling and fleet vehicle maintenance, electrical, security, tools ( hand, pneumatic, and power tools),  air compressors, jacks, generators, and pumps
