Job Description

Serve as an HR liaison to internal and external partners by building effective relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and best practices for HR Shared Services. Provides escalated issue resolution, policy and process guidance

and audit/reporting support to team members, HR partners, business partners and vendors to drive ongoing support and process improvements to meet changing business needs.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support new hires and ensure company policies and procedures are being met related to background checks, drug screens, relocation, and other benefits
  • Functions as a liaison with vendors and third-party administrators to ensure service needs are met
  • Review, audit and analyze transactional quality of HR Customer Service Team
  • Provide reporting and data analysis to support HR SOX processes and compliance
  • Produce monthly metrics to monitor performance of HR Customer Service Team
  • Provide direction and resolve escalations for U.S. and international team members
  • Review and identify root cause for all escalated service requests and use this information to drive improvements within service delivery teams
  • Lead special assignments such as testing, audit validations, process mapping/documentation and mergers and acquisitions
  • Apply CI methodologies to identify, suggest and implement changes and/or improvements in HR procedures/processes and policies


Preferred Education & Experience

  • HR benefit and policy knowledge required
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and sound judgment
  • Relationship building and interpersonal skills dealing with all levels of the organization
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996) of all personal, payroll or sensitive data in all interactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange
  • Strong internal and external customer focus
  • This position also requires effectively managing ongoing change, being resourceful and requiring effective problem solving and follow through skills
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work individually, with no supervision and ability to lead cross-functional teams work


Work Environment

  • Travel 5%



  • This position interacts with all levels of the organization ensuring team members and HR partners are aligned to the process and policy
  • Ensures compliance of company policies and guidelines for vendor related issues
  • This position focuses on escalated service support, providing a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the organization. While assisting with products and services, incident and problem management of integrated support that considers business/organization impact, reactive and proactive communications
  • This role has direct impact on team member awareness, education of HR benefit/ policy


Working Relationships

  • Works closely with service providers
  • HR partners including Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, LTOE, HR Managers, and other business partners
  • Internal and external auditors to provide overviews of procedures, manage audits, including department compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act
