The Accounting & Finance Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. This is a part-time resource with the potential of conversion to full-time in the future.

Primary Responsibilities

* Maintain journal and ledger, prepare financial statements, and reports
* Gather, interpret and evaluate financial information
* Make journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts, collect data, allocate costs, and prepare reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assembly or other operating expenses
* Ensure established procedures are followed
* Analyze data to produce variance reports, analysis, interpretation, and production of other special reports. May interpret reports and records for managers
* Various cash management duties including cash batch reconciling, payment processing and projects
* Other duties include: evaluation of and recommendations relating to business opportunities, investments, financial regulations, and coordination of financial projects or programs
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and prefer a minimum 1 year of experience in a corporate setting. Certifications are a plus.
* Advanced ERP knowledge, with Oracle being a plus
* Advanced use of MS Office (especially Excel, Word and Outlook)
* Ability to problem solve while taking on new projects and responsibilities with minimal supervision
* Ability to work across a variety of departments to solve problems and address process issues
* Impeccable attention to detail is a must
* Occasional extended hours and travel required
