Job Description

As a Production Control Intern, you will work Operations Management team with primary responsibility for one large project and assisting with various smaller projects. This intern will be assigned a primary mentor and spend time shadowing other supply chain positions at Fluke to gain an understanding of these roles.

Production Control Intern Responsibilities:

* Manage a large scope project to completion with the goal of impacting improvement in quality, delivery and/or cost.
* Quickly learn the various supply chain roles and how they contribute to the company as a whole in order to understand how their project impacts these roles.
* Learn and use Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to measure key metrics and drive results.
* Collaborate across functions to drive improvement.

In addition to your daily responsibilities you will participate in at least one kaizen event, lunch and learn sessions and have a report out presentation at the end of the summer session. Fluke internships are known for being robust and hands on in addition to being relevant to your academic focus and career objectives. Of course, we'll have some fun both inside and outside of work as well.

* Current Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management student
* MS Office Skill (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Effective ability to prioritize and execute multiple duties
* Ability to create a plan and implement
* Strong communication skills (verbally and written)
* Team player, willingness to learn and jump in
